Uniq Stone Pty Ltd - Workmanship Warranty

Warranty Period: 12 Months from Date of Installation

This Workmanship Warranty applies to fabrication and installation services carried out by Uniq Stone Pty Ltd.

By accepting a quotation or proceeding with installation, the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Workmanship Warranty.

1. Warranty Coverage

Uniq Stone provides a 12 month workmanship warranty commencing from the date of installation.

This warranty covers defects that arise solely as a direct result of workmanship performed by Uniq Stone during:

  • Fabrication
  • Installation
  • Fixing and joining methods

Where a valid workmanship defect is identified within the warranty period, Uniq Stone will, at its discretion, repair or rectify the affected area.

2. Natural Stone Disclaimer

Natural stone is a product of nature and may contain inherent characteristics including but not limited to pitting, fissures, veining, colour variation, mineral deposits, and irregular markings.

Hairline cracks may occur or open during fabrication or installation. Where possible, these will be repaired and re joined as part of standard workmanship.

These natural characteristics are not defects and are not covered under this workmanship warranty.

3. Exclusions

This Workmanship Warranty does not cover:

  • Stone or surface materials supplied by the client or third parties, including natural stone, porcelain, silica free or engineered surfaces
  • Chipping, cracking, scratching, staining, etching, or surface damage occurring after installation
  • Damage caused by impact, misuse, neglect, accidents, excessive heat, chemicals, or lack of maintenance
  • Structural movement, cabinetry movement, substrate failure, or building settlement
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Alterations, repairs, or modifications carried out by others after installation

4. Client Responsibilities

Following installation, the client is responsible for:

  • Ongoing care and maintenance of the installed product
  • Using the product in accordance with recommended care guidelines

Uniq Stone is not responsible for damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, or external influences after installation.

5. Warranty Claims

All warranty claims must:

  • Be submitted in writing within the 12 month warranty period
  • Provide reasonable access for inspection

Uniq Stones liability under this warranty is limited strictly to rectification of workmanship defects and does not extend to replacement, refunds, or consequential loss.

6. Governing Law

This Workmanship Warranty is governed by the laws of South Australia.
